This easy to install and maintain kit also allows for adjustable height for the perfect fit. Create the appearance of a fully Built-indesign for your refrigerator and freezer when you pair them side by side and use this convenient, cost-effective kit. The kit can be used with WSZ57L18DM and WSR57R18DM models; check to see if your model number is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools; previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. Be sure to unplug the appliances or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this trim kit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Changed Design I purchased this trim kit in 2014 along with my refrigerator (Model No.EL88TRRWS) and freezer (Model No.W10326801A). My refrigerator recently died. I researched buying a replacement refrigerator and whether or not it was compatible with my existing trim kit. I was mad enough already about my 6 year old refrigerator dying so I hope that the $500 I spent on my trim kit in 2014 wasn't also at stake. The opening requirements were identical for both trim kits (the one I purchased and the one currently being sold) and there was no clear indication that the current trim kit was any different. The model numbers are even the same! However, it was clear once we received the new refrigerator that the bottom of the old trim kit will not work with the new refrigerator. So, now I have to buy this trim kit even though all I need is the new bottom piece. Absolutely ridiculous! Good luck trying to call Whirlpool. I was on hold for over an hour and never spoke to a live person. The online chat was useless and a waste of time. Whirlpool is a sorry excuse for an American company. We will NOT purchase any more Whirlpool products ever. I am extremely disappointed but unfortunately due to our cabinet configuration I am stuck with these money sucking products. Whirlpool, if you respond to this review, please give me the phone number where a live person will actually pick up to speak to me. I am willing to pay some for the new trim kit. However, I feel that paying full price for the trim kit is not something that I should have to do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cbappliance from Horrible design First off, if your thinking about buying this trim kit for the all fridge/freezer don’t!! Don’t buy the the whirlpool unit. Do yourself a favor and buy the Frigidaire or Electrolux with the trim kit. This trim kit will not allow you to properly secure, align, or install the two units in the opening. You might as well just slide each one in the opening side by side. The kit will then only provide you with the surrounding frame. Never in all my time installing appliances have I had such an issue installing this type of kit. Like i said save yourself the frustration and money by buying a different brand listed above.
