Rated 2 out of 5 by Don H from Problem Cooktop Bought for new home and purchased all Whirlpool products for the kitchen. The cook top delivered was set up for natural gas and had to be converted by an authorized Whirlpool Tec to LP. Even after changing orifices it still takes for ever to just boil water. Possibly a defective cook top or just a problem with Whirlpool and LP gas. Service takes for ever at my location.

The knobs feel heavy and durable, the pivoting grates make cleaning efficient and quality control pushed through a product blemish free. The instructions were clear and easy to follow making installation very user friendly. I will continue to purchase whirlpool products in the near future based on this experience alone.
