We wanted to see how the sliver would look and where in our kitchen we could put it. We loved the shape and the color. The front portion looks almost like stainless steel, the rounded back portion is more of a grey. We decided not to go for a countertop model but this one was adequate size for heating dinner plates, bowls of soup, pizza slices or just a cup of coffee.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Renae from ok but came damaged and smaller I just bought this. There are flaws on the front like it was hit or color coming off. I like it for the look but small and doesn't fit a larger cup to heat up like a regular microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Janny40 from Less really is more! This microwave has exceeded my expectations in every way. First of all, I reclaimed much needed counter space in my galley kitchen. Then this little tiger fits my dinner plates perfectly. Pizza reheats are no problem. If that weren't enough the control buttons are so simple I can't believe how easy it is. My neighbor ordered one right after seeing she saw mine! This is truly a case of 'less is more'!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Boe79 from Nice but bad design, will not buy again After 2 years the microwave developed the same problem as several other reviewers mentioned. It began sparking at the bottom of the waveguide cover. I think this is a bad design. In this microwave the waveguide cover goes from the very top to the very bottom of the microwave. We keep our microwave very clean. However It's easy for the food particles to get stuck under the bottom of the cover and it can't be cleaned up and eventually it will start arcing. The cover is not easily removable it's glued to the wall and secured with one time use plastic buttons which break when removed. The replacement cover is not even available for sale, you'd have to buy a sheet mica and cut one out yourself. Expensive nice little microwave but bad design.

Our new microwave is defective, it creates so much fog during process, you cannot see through the glass door window. Today I contacted Whirlpool Live chat. They said its normal!!!!! Over 30 years I used different Models , brands and never had this problem- opaque glass I got defected microwave and cannot return
