Rated 1 out of 5 by silkiemama from Electronic Nightmare I bought this in 4/2022. Within the last 2 weeks, the electronics have gone haywire on this thing. It will randomly glitch, not be responsive to what you push and overall is a total electrical mess. Sometimes it will just do its own thing. Paying $900, I thought it would last more than 2 years. Called whirlpool who won't cover anything over 395 days. If I had know that I was spending $900 for 395, I would have bought a basic from Walmart. A $50 microwave lasts longer. Very, very disappointed and will not be buying from Whirlpool again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by no nickname from DO NOT BUY! Terrible Service Absolutely awful microwave and disgusting behavior from Whirlpool. Originally had issues such as closed door won't register as closed. We dealt with it. But NEW PROBLEM is F2E1 error caused by plastic bits breaking off in the door and loosening the inner panel. Now the microwave doesn't work at all and it is a KNOWN issue that whirlpool is being dishonest with customers about. Just look at the other reviews on this product and IGNORE the positive ones. I even found a youtube video ("Whirlpool WMH78019HZ Defect") with hundreds of comments having the SAME PROBLEM. If they had an semblance of good business practices they would recall the product or AT LEAST offer free repairs. It is absolutely atrocious that they expect you to pay for a repair caused by their own bad products. I also talked to a customer service rep and they fully admitted that Whirlpool products are expected to break down, completely ignoring the fact that this has happened to multiple people through no fault of our own. They are useless on call, they do not care about customers, and I will not be buying from them again and I would advise anyone else to look elsewhere for a WORKING product.

The plastic pieces that hold the door together have broken off and renders the key pad inoperable causing an F2E1 error. It is a known issue that Whirlpool will not acknowledge. Would not recommend this model. The fix is more expensive than a new microwave.
