My wife asked for help from Whirlpool, but the reply was simply to refer to such and such a place in manual. Very disappointed that builder chose to install this oven.

Rated 1 out of 5 by On Hold Forever from Call to Whirlpool; unpleasant experience The service one receives for the "Product" (oven) directly impacts a customer's opinion of the product. Per Owner's Manual, top of page 17, I had to order a "tall shield" for the oven from Whirlpool. That was a very unpleasant experience; exceptionally long hold times, when finally someone answered they did not seem to grasp or understand what I was ordering despite referring them to the oven's owner's manual. I was repeatedly transferred to various different people and spent a lengthy amount of time on hold each time, only to be disconnected at least twice. Attempts to call Whirlpool went on for three different days to order this part. I was promised a call back but never received one. Major waste of time. Finally, able to order part thanks to "Brian" but the item was on backorder and unavailable at the time. I was told I would be sent a follow up email about the order but have not received any said email. Sadly, the overall experience was AWFUL.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CleeM from Terrible control panel and owner manual The oven and broiler operate fine. The manual that came with it and any online guide(s) were not that useful. Still don't understand the difference between regular bake and convection bake or regular broil and convection broil. It does not have high and low broil settings like my old oven and I have no idea if broil should be 450-500-550 degrees. The control panel touch screen sucks. It is hard to read (other than large time showing when not using) and it doesn't respond well to touch. I have tried soft touch and more forceful touch and often have to try a selection 2-3 times before it responds. Every time I open the door when baking or broiling such as to turn food over, an odd screen with number pad and word 'resume' appears. No place in manuals describes why or what to do. If I hit resume sometimes it goes back to setting and temp selected and sometimes not and I have to turn off and start over. It seems that it may be actually better to control oven over wi-fi via phone app than on the appliance itself. This is ridiculous.
