Whirlpool sent a repairman who said the part needed would take 2 weeks and he has no idea how much more time it would take to get someone out to fix it since he’s never installed a compressor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NEW FRIDGE from NOT MUCH GOO TO SAY. I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO. WITH IN FIRST WEEK ICE MAKER WHOULD NOT WORK CORRECT ACCOUNT OF INSTALLED WRONG. SENT NEW FRIDGE OUT AND REPLACED COMPLETLY. THIS SECOUND ONE HAS A SKEAKY DOOR THAT DRIVES YOU NUTS. REPAIRMAN CAME OUT AND SAID THE FRIDGE INSTALLERS PUT HINGES IN WRONG, HE SWITCHED IT RIGHT AND FRIDGE STILL SKEAKY. I WILL HAVE TO CALL THEM AGAIN IF IT DOES NOT STOP. NOT THAT HAPPY WITH PRODUCT. ALL NEW FRIDGES ARE NOT BUILT LIKE THE OLDER ONE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Skip208 from Westinghouse 30" Top Freezer Refrigerator. I bought this new refrigerator about 3 weeks to replaced my older one, which was not very efficient. The new one is probably more efficient, but seems to run more than I would expect. The only other downside for me is that the bottom drawers are not deep enough to store much for fresh vegetables and fruit. Also, because my house is 130 years old and the doors are not as wide as newer homes, we had to take a lot of things (doors and other connecting items) off the unit in order to get it into the house (that's just a note for those with older home and narrow doors)
