Rated 1 out of 5 by Tajpenns from Out of Square and bad Doors I have still yet to get fridge fixed. The doors do not want to open at all. There is such a suction that i literally reinjured my shoulder (no joke). That is how hard they pull open. I have to push in best I can on seal to make it open. Also the fridge wobbles really bad. Once you get the wobble better then the fridge is way out of level. My floor is level all the way around fridge too. I believe the frame is out of square as I have never had a fridge do this before. I tech said he had never seen this happen before and so far hasn't fixed it. I just want a replacement. If an elderly person would own this they would not bet doors open at all.

Ice cream was liquid.Had to throw lots of food out. Took numerous calls to arrange for repair person to come fix it. It was necessary for the compressor to be replaced which took more waiting. The refrigerator now does keep the food at proper temperature but it makes a noise that I’ve never had in any refrigerator previously owned. The shelves on the freezer door do not hold items in place and are useless without the aluminum pans I have placed there. Very unsatisfied with the refrigerator. Would advise friends to look at other brands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Babyroy from Not a good product When refrigerator was less than 6 months old water was pooling on the top shelf and the fake stainless steel doors were showing sighs of rust. Repairman said it was condensation. We have to keep a washcloth on the shelf to absorb the "condensation". I called whirlpool about the rust and was told it was considered cosmetic and not covered by the warranty. Really? Whirlpool is junk. Problem is they make most of the appliances today under different names. Repairman said to buy Roper. Same working parts but a lot cheaper. When it breaks throw it out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jas0816 from Good but somewhat disappointing Plenty of room inside this model. I love how much it will hold. However it’s not as quiet as the Kitchen Aid I had prior. I mean it’s not that bad just more than I’m used to. Also the door won’t close by itself—it swings open and won’t close automatically unless you shut it. I can’t get used to that. In addition, the bottom of the shelves on the side door of the freezer are too narrow as compared to the side bar that holds everything in. I have things slip through. They should have made it wider or one piece to keep things from falling through.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Samsil from Keeps Food Cold But..... The positive to the refrigerator and freezer is it keeps food cold & love the lighting. Unfortunately the freezer door pops open when the refrigerator door is closed. That usually happens after a couple of years of use, not on a brand new unit. The shelves on the freezer door are not deep enough so whatever is put in the door storage falls through the gap. Ice cream can't be stored there because the freezer door pops open. Lastly, the textured outside of the fridge is great, wish the front had the texture instead of the shiny finish that shows off finger prints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Greenleaf from Fit our needs We bought this 2 months ago because it would fit into our limited space. So far I am fairly happy with the unit. Definitely is keeping food in fridge and freezer colder than our previous unit. At times I feel it is noisy yet my wife thinks otherwise, I may be critical to the frequency as its running. Freezer door was scratched, probably by installer as they were installing the handle. Replacement door came in and is fine. As others have complained we too believe storage bins on freezer door need to be redesigned as food does slip out the bottom. We were told that due to the variable speed compressors these units will run longer and that has been our experience.
