7.0 cu.ft Top Load Electric Dryer with Wrinkle Shield™ Plus

Help prevent damage caused by overdrying and spend less time in the laundry room with the Whirlpool® 7.0 cu. ft. high-efficiency electric dryer. This large capacity dryer evenly dries loads the first time with the AccuDry™ sensor drying system by measuring moisture and temperature levels. Two built-in sensors help the dryer automatically stop the cycle when the load is dry, so this Whirlpool® top load dryer uses less energy than those equipped with the AutoDry™ system. This high-efficiency electric dryer is also built with American Pride and designed, engineered and assembled in the U.S.A.

Wrinkle Shield™ Option

Helps prevent wrinkles from setting in by continuing to tumble the load every 5 minutes after the cycle is complete. Either designate how long the feature tumbles the load, or easily open the door to end it.

7.0 Cu. Ft. Capacity

With a 7.0 cu. ft. capacity dryer drum, there's plenty of room to easily handle the large loads you washed in the matching top load washer.

Additional Features

AccuDry™ Sensor Drying System

Evenly dry loads the first time with the AccuDry™ sensor drying system. It measures moisture and temperature levels with two built-in sensors to help prevent overdrying and automatically stop the cycle when the load is dry.

Hamper Door

Easily move clothes from the washer to the dryer with the help of our hamper door. This feature also is great for when it's time to sort and fold your laundry.

Adjustable End-of-Cycle Signal

Avoid leaving items in the dryer with the adjustable end-of-cycle signal. Thanks to a helpful tone, you'll know when your dry cycle is finished. You can even adjust the volume if you'd like, or completely turn it off.

Interior Drum Light

The interior drum light helps with easy loading and unloading by allowing you to better see the inside of the dryer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KayJ20 from Buyer Beware I bought this dryer in January 2020. Within 6 months, the timer had to be replaced. In mid-2023, the dryer had to be repaired again. This time it was a belt loose. The repairman glued a belt back in place. Now, it is not heating correctly. Instead of 45 minutes to dry a normal load of clothes, it takes between 1-1/2 to 2 hours to dry them. Even on the hottest setting, it will not do better.

I spent 2 days removing the sticky substance with Goo-Gone and then washing it with soapy water. The glue was also on the backside and that was impossible to remove. I don't like receiving a dirty dryer. To add to the madness, the blue covering that is supposed to be peeled off before use, well, it was stuck on there to where it would only come off in little pieces. There is still some of the blue pieces stuck to my new dryer. It will never come off. Was not expecting 2 days of works to clean before I could do any laundry. It was really bad. But needed to use it, so didn't return. Very unhappy about it.

I had it delivered to a second home and wasn’t able to stay to have a service tech come to the house. VERY DISAPPOINTED and the only reason you got 2 stars instead of one is the nice delivery guys.
