I called Whirlpool on 12/18/23 advising them that it was not heating up and asked if they had any troubleshooting things we could try. The women advised me they don't and the only thing they would do is send out a service person. My husband had been gone a week and a half for work and I waited to call them until I knew for sure it wasn't an issue on our end. The service tech came today (12/29/23) and advised us that the dryer was built in August 2021 and has sat in their Warehouse until it came to our house. The service guy advised that it is actually the motherboard that is shot and not working properly. My husband called Whirlpool stating that since it is less than a month old we would like a new one. We spoke with several people all who said that since it was used and we had a service call we can no longer return item. Even though it was them who recommended and sent the service person out we can no longer return the product. Regina who was a Customer Escalation board member told my husband that once the item is turned on, they can no longer take a return reuqest. She even hinted at the fact that we were probably the ones to break the motherboard. We asked her how you were supposed to test an item without turning it on and she clearly could not give us a good answer. We have always ordered Whirlpool since we live in Michigan and it is local to us. We have friends and family that work for the company but if this is how they treat their customers I think this will be our last time purchasing any appliances. I do not recommend and I would 100% look at other brands for any appliances.

Initially bought in Feb 2019, it never dried on any setting but "timed", I replaced multiple parts, had vents professionally cleaned, etc. The Unit was initially returned for another by the store, and the second unit was the same, WHirlpool insisted that every piece be replaced before sending me a new one...20 months later it arrived today and DOES NOT Dry. There will be no WHirlpool products bought be me.
