My washer wasn't leveled so it was shaking even thought I paid extra for installation. On the good side the clothes seem very clean and smell fresh. Overall, I would recommend.

I had thought that we were buying the washer with the removable agitator but my husband didn't double check that part of the online order. Other than those glitches, everything seems to be running smoothly. I'm hoping this washer lasts me 20 years just like my previous washer did. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that Whirlpool washers are less expensive to repair than the other brands out there.

The hinge to this device breaks causing the glass lid to lift on the left of the washer in the bag. This is awful. There is no way to prevent this. If you Google this device you will see countless complaints of this exact same thing. People gave replaced the top and hinge and guess what, it happens again. I'm surprised there isn't a Class Action Lawsuit against Whirlpool because of this. I'm sooooo disappointed. For the price, it should indeed not have such flawed pieces. Then, to top it off, you want to charge $139 for a technician to come out and identify what I have (and many other owners) have complained about. What a joke!

Very pleased with its operations thus far and this tub is equipped with an agitator. I have an agitator in the washer at our retirement home that is extremely loud and is another well known brand. This Whirlpool is by far the quietest and the best!

I wish you were able to select load size as it never seems to fill with adequate amount of water for larger loads. Also this machine is very loud! For the price I was expecting better.

Small thin easily breakable latch snapped right off with no exertion whatsoever. Major design flaw. Should have been made with metal. Schedule repair a month out leaving me with having to go to the laundromat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by GAU1 from Not as good as I expected to be We’ve had this machine for less than a year when stopped working, got some errors on the display and when the technician came, discovered that the floating device, which detects the water level broke. Also, since they one, this machine vibrated quite a bit, not sure if the installers didn’t do a good job at leveling or if the machine itself doesn’t handle uneven loads well. My previous washer lasted a bit over 6 years, also a bit disappointed as I expect these machines to last at least 10 years.

I can actually touch the bottom of the tub. It's nig hot so deep I struggle to remove the clean laundry out of it. It's a wonderful washer so far. I havent had it long bit so far It's just great. It's not noisy either. It seems it's a little more compact and not as tall as my last whirlpool. You all really out done yourselves with this model. Please continue in the future to offer a model always very Similar to this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by New washer review from Great washer, zero rating for customer service Let me say, once I found someone to give me PROPER instructions on how to operate this washer, I love it! It does everything I wanted it to. Now, to the customer service issue. When the men came to install it, they gave me the quick run down on it’s operation…..3 minutes, or less. They gave me the included “quick start guide” and were on their way. The printed material was basically how to do an average load of clothes, period. There are many features to this washer but no one told me what they were, why to use them, or where to get that info. I had to register the washer on line, set up an account to even look to see if there was a manual available. What was there was the quick start guide I already had. Nothing else. Next I called Customer Service and spoke to a representative who wanted to help, but kept asking what was the problem I was having with the washer. “I can’t have a problem if I don’t know how to use it!” I said. After going back and forth for 10 minutes or so, and getting more and more frustrated, I ended the call. The next day I contacted the sales person at the appliance store where we bought the washer and told her the problem I was having. She actually UNDERSTOOD what I was so frustrated about and sent me the description I needed, although it took her awhile to track anything other than what I already had. As anyone can see, the Quick Start Guide doesn’t come close to explaining what the cycles are, or the various options are for. Isn’t it nice to actually have an explanation as to the difference between “cold” and “tap cold”?

It's a beautiful washer and we like the top loading model. It's easy to operate and holds a lot of clothing, especially compared to the front loading washer we had before. Really appreciate that it's made in the US.

We had just had them for 15 years and decided to retire the other machines to our basement for our teenager. The machine works great and is extremely nice. It has all of the bells and whistles and is really easy to use. Overall, it is great so far. Hopefully it will alst as long as the previous ones did.

Luckily it is still under manufacture warranty but the company that is contracted by Whirlpool to repair my washer took a week to come out to look it. They then had to order the part. After two weeks of not hearing back from them I call and tell me that the part is on back order. It’s been almost a month and my washer is still broken. Worst purchase ever.

At first I was mad it had an agitator because I wanted one without, but the agitator gets my clothes SO clean and the drum is still so large that you can do big loads. I love the presoak option. It's not one of those fancy washers with the app to control it or anything, but you don't want that - that's what causes more problems and repair bills down the line. Keep it simple and effective and get this washer. I promise you won't regret it! On top of all that, the color is beautiful and even though I don't have a fancy laundry room, it makes my basement laundry area look great!
